laraberrycross108Yes Great fun for kids and adults. Easy to play, encourages lots of table talk.
luwies.mum1012Yes This game is a great peacemaker. By that I mean that we often play other very competitive strategy games which leave a somewhat tense atmosphere. So to relieve the tension, we bust out Bohnanza and the enmity is soon forgotten. There is something about those beans - the cute illustrations - and the trading and bargaining that just can't help but make one laugh. Great game, super easy setup - just shuffle, deal the cards and you're ready to bean-farm. Great for traveling families as it comes is a relatively small box (only a deck of 154 cards) and can be played by a good range of 2-7 players.
Shade_Jon107Yes I know whole families of kids who love this game. The simple mechanics, elementary and helpful trading mechanism, and funny pictures all help to make a fun game. It plays fairly quickly, and develops planning and math skills. Players try to plant beans from their hands onto the table, collecting cash when their crops have reached the right size.
talhoffer106Yes excellent game for all ages
cdunc12396Yes Great fun, and very different from any other card game I've played. Even my 5 and 8 year old enjoy it (we made a card holder for my 5 year old by cutting a slot in a foot-long 2x2 board). It takes a couple of plays to get the rules down, but it is quite intuitive after that. Love the pics on the cards too!
cindy99Yes Great game, lots of give and take and plenty of silliness for those who just want to have fun yet plenty of strategy for those who are more serious. Can run a little long.

ERPriest97Yes A great family game, with lots of riotous interaction. The card mechanics can be a little confusing, but interestingly for us, more so with the adults than with the kids. Plays best with 5 or 6, and we have played with up to 8 with success.

Styro95Yes My 3 girls (5, 7, and 9) all really enjoy playing Bohnanza. It is frequently requested in our house.
corross87Yes Fun! I like that playing this game well generally seems to involve playing somewhat cooperatively. Planning ahead for future turns is beyond the ability of most young children, but even little ones (5+ or so) seem to enjoy the game.
davebo87Yes Kids love this game. My kids play this all the time, my 7yo daughter even gets into the act.
Mark8 Yes I played this with kids - can't remember their ages exactly, around 8 I think. They liked it.
Marky_marc86Yes Great game for all ages. A good game for any family collection, and surprisingly easy for younger kids to pick up.
musicmom85Yes My kids love it, and I love that all ages can play together. Not hard to learn. My only complaint is that it takes too long to play.
pikkusiili200087Yes Good intro to trading games.
The Unbeliever88Yes I recommend card racks for holding the cards in this game.
wkusau88Yes Excellent game for families.
