So to relieve the tension, we bust out Bohnanza and the enmity is soon forgotten. There is something about those beans - the cute illustrations - and the trading and bargaining that just can't help but make one laugh. Great game, super easy setup - just shuffle, deal the cards and you're ready to bean-farm. Great for traveling families as it comes is a relatively small box (only a deck of 154 cards) and can be played by a good range of 2-7 players. |

Players try to plant beans from their hands onto the table, collecting cash when their crops have reached the right size. |

Even my 5 and 8 year old enjoy it (we made a card holder for my 5 year old by cutting a slot in a foot-long 2x2 board). It takes a couple of plays to get the rules down, but it is quite intuitive after that. Love the pics on the cards too! |
